Programmes

  • Community School
Tawasol runs its own community school accommodating up to 500 students including children with special needs from the neighboring areas. The school includes a sports playground, a 150-seat theatre, a school library, an art room and a computer lab. Tawasol also has a performing arts programme at the school to provide a creative outlet for students to develop their talents through theatre, choir, Egyptian folklore, and circus arts.
  • Tawasol Shop
To support the economic development of the communities in which they operate, Tawasol produces unique hand-made products using locally sourced materials. Products are sold at the Tawasol premises or online and 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of these products are given back to the communities that made them, either in wages to artisans, or to help sustain community development projects.
