Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) is a nonprofit focusing on environmental protection and responsible waste management through education, community programmes, and corporate engagement. The organisation acts as a professional working group with a member network comprising students, individuals, families, corporates, government agencies, universities, colleges and schools, as well as regional and international institutions. EEG works in partnership with different types of entities and also offers volunteer opportunities.

Education Programme
EEG’s educational programmes focuses on increasing youth knowledge, awareness and responsibility towards environmental protection and sustainability. The organisation holds different competitions, online workshops and virtual sessions to engage with students. Their programmes reach various students across the MENA region and provides them with meaningful platforms to connect and learn.Engagement
The organisation engages with public and private organisations through meetings, presentation, dialogue session, and action programmes throughout the year. They also provide corporates with tailored, eco-friendly and sustainable solutions. EEG engages with the community through its community lecture series, highlighting the power of exchange and dialogue and learning through personal involvement and participation.Waste Management and Recycling
EEG’s waste management programme educates communities in the UAE on responsible waste management. The organisation runs campaigns and recycling awareness programmes, and also offers to collect their recycled and separated waste (including glass, paper, mobile phones, toners and aluminium cans) and sends them to authorised recycling centres. Some of their projects and campaigns include can collection campaign, paper walk, quick race, green call, clean up UAE, green December, recycle, reforest, repeat (3R), one tree one communi-tree and the neighbourhood recycling project (NRP).
