Global perspectives from the next generation of wealth holders
Over the next 50 years, the world will witness an unprecedented transfer of wealth, marking the most significant shift in assets in history.
A new report published by LGT Philanthropy Advisors explores the multifaceted nature of wealth, encompassing financial, physical, and intangible assets and examines the perspectives of multiple generations of wealth holders on the meaning of wealth, as well as on creating, investing, spending, giving, and transferring wealth.
‘Wealth for Impact: Global Perspectives from the Next Generations of Wealth Holders’ is based on more than 60 interviews with individuals from 30 different countries, aged between 18 to 77 and representing the second to the 26th generation of wealth-owning families.
The report will be launched virtually with a panel discussion focussing on some of the study's key findings:
- The evolving meaning of wealth and the growing awareness of privilege among younger generations
-
The crucial role of family values in shaping approaches to wealth
-
The integration of sustainability as a core principle across all aspects of wealth management
-
The increasing desire to leverage wealth for positive social and environmental impact
Circle MENA is taking part in a separate in-person launch of the report in Dubai on Thursday February 20. This is an invitation-only event. If you would like to join us, please email info@circlemena.org to register your interest.
