The role of institutional philanthropy in driving local community development

Beyond giving

The Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research is hosting an in-person research majlis event in Ras Al Khaimah.

Join Camilla Della Giovampaola, PhD candidate at the Geneva Graduate Institute and researcher at the University of Geneva, to hear her research on how philanthropic foundations in the UAE are evolving—and what this means for local development, engagement, and empowerment.

The Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research was established in 2009 to aid in the social, cultural, and economic development of Ras Al Khaimah, a northern emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
