Why frontline funding matters

Launching the Resilio Fund

On 5th November, Legatum will be hosting a launch event for the Resilio Fund, its latest collaborative philanthropic venture.

The Resilio Fund is looking to transform how the world responds to crises by focusing resources on local communities, the true first and best responders in times of disaster.

This special convening will celebrate the fund's launch and to bring together partners, leaders, and friends for an inspiring conversation about the future of hyper-local crisis response.

Keynote speakers will include Badr Jafar, the UAE's Special Envoy for Business and Philanthropy, Tsitsi Masiyiwa, the chair and co-founder of Delta Philanthropies, and Christoper Chandler, Chairman and Partner of Legatum.

There will also be a panel discussion with Tala Al-Ramahi from the Mohamed bin Zayed Foundation for Humanity, Tom Hall, CEO of the UBS Optimus Foundation, and Shikha Goyal, CEO of the Vitol Foundation.

Legatum also runs the End Fund, fighting NTDS, the Freedom Fund, tackling modern slavery, and Luminos Fund, to help out-of-school children catch up with their education.
